TRAINING ON GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES IN FOOD HANDLING AND PROCESSING
The Food Development Center (FDC) of the National Food Authority (NFA) will conduct a training course on “Requirements for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in Food Handling and Processing” on August 17, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the FDC Compound, East Union Drive corner ARCA Boulevard ARCA South (formerly FTI Complex), Taguig City.
The course aims to upgrade the understanding of participants on the requirements for good manufacturing practices (GMP) in food plants and its adoption under local conditions. It is designed for quality control and food plant supervisors, and exporters who have not attended a GMP course at FDC.
The course fee is P4,400.00 per participant inclusive of a training manual, lunch and snacks. Interested participants are encouraged to make early reservations and to confirm though payment of the required fee.
Deadline for submission of complete registration form with checks payable to the National Food Authority-Food Development Center is August 10, 2018.
Participants may wish to stay at the FDC dormitory on a first come first served basis. Rooms are air-conditioned and can accommodate 2 persons per room. Adjoining rooms share a toilet and bath with hot shower. Rates are P790.00 and P600.00 per room per day for double and single occupancy, respectively.
