NFA-COMVAL RECEIVES PLAQUE OF APPRECIATION FROM PHIL ARMY
NFA-ComVal Provincial Office was awarded a Plaque of Appreciation by the Philippine Army - 66IB Kabalikat Battalion for its notable contribution to the Peace and Development Outreach Program of the Battalion in Davao Region particularly in the municipality of New Bataan.
The plaque was awarded during the Battalion’s 18th founding anniversary on May 22, 2016.
Since its inception in 2002 as a Unit Office, the local NFA has been implementing its Food Security mandate by ensuring the availability and accessibility of safe and affordable government rice To date, New Bataan has six (6) NFA rice outlets located at the public market and barangays.
Acting Operations Officer and concurrent Economist-III Alexes A. Sotto received the award in behalf of Provincial Manager Arthur A. Aller.
The occasion became an opportunity for both the NFA and the Armed Forces of the Philippines to renew their commitment to support their respective endeavors in serving the people of New Bataan towards peace keeping and ensuring food security in the area.
